RATE US Terms & Conditions

  1. This competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Cointree ABN 36 167 203 303 of Melbourne, Victoria, 3000 (“Promoter”).
  2. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.
  3. The Competition is only open to individuals who: (i) are Australian residents (ii) have a current Cointree account, which has successfully passed identity verification (iii) received an official promotional email from Cointree related to this competition (iv) are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; (“Entrant”)
  4. The Competition commences at 12:00 am AEST on 30 September 2024 and closes at 11:59 pm AEST on 8 December 2024 (“Competition Period”)
  5. Except as otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars.

ENTRY

  1. Entry to the Competition is via the official Cointree review link, provided in our promotional email. To enter and be eligible to win, participants must provide a rating of Cointree during the Competition Period. A maximum of one entry per participant is permitted, and only one prize per participant can be won. The prize winners will be chosen at random.
  2. The Competition consists of ten (10) weekly entry periods (“Weekly Entry Periods”) during the Competition Period, as outlined below:
    1. Week 1: 12:00 am AEST on 30 September 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 6 October 2024
    2. Week 2: 12:00 am AEST on 7 October 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 13 October 2024
    3. Week 3: 12:00 am AEST on 14 October 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 20 October 2024
    4. Week 4: 12:00 am AEST on 21 October 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 27 October 2024
    5. Week 5: 12:00 am AEST on 28 October 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 3 November 2024
    6. Week 6: 12:00 am AEST on 4 November 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 10 November 2024
    7. Week 7: 12:00 am AEST on 11 November 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 17 November 2024
    8. Week 8: 12:00 am AEST on 18 November 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 24 November 2024
    9. Week 9: 12:00 am AEST on 25 November 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 1 December 2024
    10. Week 10: 12:00 am AEST on 2 December 2024 to 11:59 pm AEST on 8 December 2024
  4. Entries received during each Weekly Entry Period will be eligible for the corresponding weekly prize draw.
  5. There is no cost to enter the Competition; however, internet connection and usage rates may apply. Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers. The Promoter is not and will not be liable for any such costs.
  6. Entries must be received during the Entry Period. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
  7. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare an Entry made by an Entrant invalid if the Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an Entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

THE PRIZE AND THE WINNER

  1. Ten (10) winners (“Winners”) will be selected over the course of the Competition Period, with one (1) winner selected for each Weekly Entry Period.
  2. Each Weekly Prize Draw will occur at 4:00pm AEST on the Monday following the conclusion of each Weekly Entry Period, at the Promoter's premises.
  3. Each Winner will receive AU$50 in Bitcoin, funded into their Cointree account.
  4. The Prize Winner will be notified in writing via email within a week of the draw. The Promoter reserves the right to ask for proof of ID and/or the Cointree email address to claim the prize.
  5. The prize will be funded into the prize winner(s) Cointree accounts within 28 days of making contact, given they have active and verified accounts.
  6. The Prize notification will state that the Prize has been won and will include instructions as to how the Winner may claim the Prize and establish their entitlement to it.
  7. If the Promoter’s representative is unable to contact the winner by phone, or email, the Promoter will select another entrant at random from the eligible entries for that Weekly Entry Period until a Winner has been contacted.
  8. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and are subject to availability.
  9. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  10. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  2. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the competition, each entrant consents to their personal information being entered onto a database. The Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, or payment, or other compensation to the entrant. The Promoter may also publish the winner’s full name, locality and entry response on the Promoters website.
